英语测试说明

  • 所有题目(除去写作题和口语面试外)均为选择题模式。
  • 每个部分的剩余时间将显示在屏幕上。完成各部分后,您可以跳至下一部分。

写作

每位考生需进行两篇较长作文写作。注意考题的措辞和提供的信息,会提示所考文体的类型,例如记叙文,议论文,回忆叙述,解释或流程说明等等。 考生应熟悉所报考阶段对应文体的特点,并进行作文写作。各阶段所考的文体,请参见下表:

请考生仔细审题,看清题目的内容,抓住题干中的关键词,了解答题的要求。下面是STAGE 3的写作题目示例:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Write at least three paragraphs. Make sure to try and be interesting. Use interesting vocabulary and try to use different kinds of sentences. Be aware of the structure and plan your writing. Edit and check your own work before submitting.

Write a narrative about one of your birthdays. Include a list of all the people you saw that day and any presents/gifts you received. Describe how you celebrated your birthday and if it was better/worse than your typical birthday. Use words which show your feelings, opinion, and point of view.

在上面的示例问题中,它是叙述性的,因此文本应该包括人物,情节,对话,还有与生日相关的物品。除了关于生日的叙述外,还必须包括你是如何庆祝生日,以及是否比你的典型生日更好/更差。

这是基于计算机的测试。考生需懂得如何使用计算机键盘。考生应注意,当需要键入作文时,应以与手写相同的写作方式进行写作。分段,标点符号,大小写等均被计分。如果考生不熟悉计算机键盘的使用,则应在考试前进行练习。

口语和听力

在听力和口语考试中,10个面试题目将由虚拟形象提问。前两个题目是一般常见问题,剩余的八个题目则与考生的年龄与报考阶段相符合。

建议考生仔细聆听提出的每个问题,做好笔记,并准确回答问题。请切记,这是考试中表达自我、展示自己英语水平的一个重要部分, 考生可以通过回答问题相关的信息来展示自己的听力与口语能力。

考生按下“Record”按钮后,每一道题最多有两分钟的作答时间。有些题目的回答可能比其它题目简短,回答此类问题时,要求学生简明扼要地回答问题所覆盖的内容,避免因为跑题或者“为了说话而说话”而丢分。根据题目和考生所处的考试阶段,回答的长度将有所不同,较高阶段的考试可能需要较长的回答。另外,建议学生在准备答案时多运用常识,充实回答内容。

当然,每个题目都是不同的,但对于一些较长的问题,平均回答长度*可能如下:

  • Stage 1 & 2 – 30-60秒
  • Stage 3 & 4 – 60-90秒
  • Stage 5 & 6 – 90-120秒

面试部分的小提示

  • 用正式的英语口语回答,因为这是一次正式的面试
  • 仔细聆听每一个问题,因为每重复一次问题都会减少一定的分数
  • 做好笔记
  • 用完整的句子回答问题
  • 回答问题提到的所有内容
  • 每一次回答不要少于7个字,因为答案过于简单、不够正式、或者答案没有体现考生的想法和知识都会导致扣分
  • 充分地回答每一个问题,不要回答与问题无关的内容。
  • 在结束回答前,不要提交答案。
