HEIDI REID

Heidi Reid has a Masters of TESOL, Grad Dip Ed (Primary), MBA (Human Resource Management).

Educated in Canada and Australia, Heidi has worked in international education for more than 20 years in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia.  She currently sits on the Advisory Council for NEAS (Quality Assurance for English Language Schools) and was previously on their Board of Directors. Ms Reid is active in the International Education Association of Australia and is an advocate and spokesperson for Pathways and international education.

PROFESSOR MARY RICHARDSON

Mary is Professor of Educational Assessment at Institute of Education (IOE), UCL, London. She has over 25 years’ teaching and research experience including education practice and policy, educational testing and assessment practice. Her current research is anchored in assessment with specialist expertise in student experiences and how assessment shapes learner identity, public understanding of testing, the ethics of assessment and currently, what generative AI might mean to all our assessment futures. She is currently co-lead on the national reporting of PISA results for Wales, Northern Ireland and England with University of Oxford.

Mary sits on the Research Advisory Boards government qualifications, provides technical advice for Pearson International and is the co-convenor of the British Educational Research Association’s Special Interest Group (SIG) for Curriculum and Assessment. She has worked on a range of international and national research projects in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Czech Republic and in Canada. She is the co-founder of IOE’s Educational Assessment research group and runs monthly seminars to promote understanding of assessment in education.

ALISON TAYLOR

Alison Taylor is an education sector specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in managing education operations across international, vocational, transnational, online education and pathways programs.

Starting her career at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and has held senior positions at UNSW, Macquarie University, the NSW Department of Education and Navitas.  Alison is a graduate of the Asialink Asian Leaders Program, the Women on Boards Next Generation of Corporate Female Leaders Program and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Alison is the Chief Operating Officer for the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Quantum Computation and Communication Technology (CQC2T).

DR LIM LAI CHENG

Dr Lim Lai Cheng is currently an independent education advisor. She has extensive experience in the Singapore Education System having been principal of three schools in Singapore. Lai Cheng held key positions in corporate communications, curriculum planning and policy development at the Education Ministry’s headquarters from 1990 to 2007. She was involved in several nation-wide reviews on education such as the Revised “A” Level Curriculum and Integrated Programme Schools as well as corporate planning teams to re-strategise Primary School Education.

Lai Cheng is a board member of the International Positive Education Network and Chairman of the Singapore Positive Education Network. She is co-founder of the Global Alliance of Leading Edge Schools for Sustainability, a network of over 30 schools across the world. She is on the advisory board of several non-profit education foundations in Riyadh, Johannesburg, Bratislava, Moscow, Cyprus, Stockholm and Indonesia. She chairs the advisory board of Principals Academy Inc. Singapore. Lai Cheng was conferred the Chevalier Dans L’ Ordre des Palmes Academiques by the French Education Minister in 2012 for her key role in advancing educational collaboration and initiatives between France and Singapore.

SUZETTE PARLEVLIET

Suzette Parlevliet is Co-founder and Experience Director at [YELLOW CAR], the world’s leading experience strategy training and consultancy firm for schools. With a background in hospitality management, she worked at the International School of Brussels for nearly a decade, where she oversaw the school’s brand development, communication strategy, web design, content production and, ultimately, the schools’ family experience. Today, Suzette brings expert insight and supports school leaders design and implement experience strategy in ways that demonstrate impact across the organisation.
