Al-Bayan International School is a private co-educational international non-profit, KG-12, American curriculum school dedicated to serving the individual needs of all children. BIS believes in a student-centered approach that is collaborative and plans cross-curricular. Al-Bayan International School (BIS) opened with the new name and fully restored campus in the Fall of 2017. Originally founded in 1993, under the name of Fawzia Sultan International School (FSIS) in honor of Ms. Fawzia H. Sultan. FSIS was a non-profit, American curriculum school dedicated to serving the educational needs of children with learning differences. The first school of its kind in the Middle East, FSIS was established to recognize the problems of children who were intelligent and capable but who were not experiencing academic success.
